Log skidder plate....?

Here is where I found the idea.

Many businesses have these for free. Some have suggested car washes, etc.

And sometimes the bullet holes in the door or hood are in the right place so you don't even have to drill!!!

Tried that but the wife got upset when I put it back on her Land Rover.

I use the "U" shaped yolk from my PHD with logging tongs attached to the top link connection. Lower the TPH, adjust the chain, place the tongs over the log & lift the TPH. Only the tail of the log skids on the dirt. Another option is to additionally connect a chain from the drawbar to a lower link in a choke chain. That way if the log snags the pull force will be below the axle.
