dad has a craftsman log splitter with a 27 ton ram the motor is getting tired, well it fell asleep... until i get a new motor for it can i hook it up to the power beyond on the tractor( mf 1547 hst) . not sure what the splitter pressure runs at and have never used power beyond. i do have the remotes they are 1/4 or 3/8 inch lines. i guess i could put mom in the seat and let her run the controls, but would prefer to use the splitters valve... any thoughts....jon

First we need some clarification.
PowerBeyond is just a "Loop" at the rear of the tractor that taps into the hydraulic flow, used most often for backhoes.
Rear remotes have the controls.

Do you have both?

If you have both, you should use the PowerBeyond connection to the IN/OUT of the valve on the splitter.

yes i have both i think....i put on the power beyond it has three hoses. that is the part that confuses me it has three hoses in out and return. my remotes are hooked to that, so if i ever get a backhoe i will just disco. the remotes and hook up the hoe...

If I am understanding correctly, you should hook your splitter to the IN/OUT lines. That should get your splitter operational.

I ran mine that way for a while but found it operated a lot slower than with its own engine.
