Around here scraping has gotten strict. All cars, no matter what condition, motor or not must have a title.
It does not matter if its tin cans or gold, they take your picture coming in along with your vehicle, license plate, ect. They then take your picture again when you pay out and must have a photo id. If are scrapping for a company (you work for them or are doing a job for them) you need a letter each and every load on letter head. (each trip).
Its easier to get a prescription than it is to take 20# of aluminum cans in.

Its about that way where I take my scrap metal too. They take your plate # and DL #. Guess we have to start paying taxes on that money.
