Was referring to Willie’s post about yanmar. But I’ve also never seen a bad boy dealer. I’ve seen a zero turn bad boy at TSC, but never a tractor or dealership.
We have a Yanmar /LS dealer, but they carry and this is just from what I saw on the lot, a majority of LS by far
What models were made by Kukje?

SR
46 -150 HP JD's
30 some models over the years?

None were US bound that I could find.

But Deere Obviously had no issues with having Kukje building tractors for other markets.
if you scan down to the John Deere/Kukje models there were a LOT

I do wonder how accurate Fandom is in the listings, would take it with a grain of salt.

I've seen a Bad Boy Tractor dealer off of I35 near OKC, IIRC.

Nearest ones to you are Wichita Falls, TX and Sublette,KS.

Yanmar has dealers in Clovis and Alamogordo.

These off brands have no dealers near us, and I don’t mind spending more for the top brand since I get all that back and probably more on a resale

You do realize that a few years ago, Kubota was an "off brand" in the US. Way back when, John Deere was just a company that made plows.

If tractors are that good, resale is a pointless stat. Most of the reason brands have higher resale is the higher initial price...and inflation.

As far as not having a dealership near you, that may say more about where you live than the brand. I'm personally a big fan of the smaller states like Alabama, but people on the coasts may think Alabama is an "off-brand".

Please get some help off of that high horse before you fall and look silly.

She is actually on the right track. JD has a reputation of holding re-sale value. Regardless of why it does, it does.

She was talking about Kubota. Besides resale value means nothing about having a good tractor. If it is good, you are not selling. It is just another marketing ploy to get suckers to pay more up front.

One of the more entertaining and informative threads I've read through on TBN. I learned a lot about dealer and mechanic perspectives from the dealers/former dealers/mechanics. It will help me when dealing with some of them in the future.

Irony, the OP has 4 posts, probably all in this thread and I'm quite sure he/she probably has no tractor.

The thing you gotta love about TBN, all the shade that gets flung around on this site with opposing views/opinions and at the EOTD we would all help each other out if we were next door neighbors and probably be good friends.

Where did that list come from? I'm not believing most of it, take the 7230 130 hp (97 kW) John Deere 7230. Like many other models, they were made in Germany, unless I'm missing something?

Do a bing.com search on some of those listed and see where they were made, like the 7230.
