Chains Looking for adjustable sway chains

I am looking for some strong, heavy duty sway chains for my YM1300D they need to be rather short as the tractor and the 3point hitch is relatively small. The chains tha came with the 3 point hitch conversion are not adjustable and it is a pain to change the length for different implements.

Also I have looked for turnbuckles but cannot find any short enough and strong enough.

Try TSC they have a univeral set and if that's too big check into cabling turn buckle's.

I couldn't find turnbuckles heavy enough and short enough, so I made my own - kind of...

Actually they are more like half-turnbuckles, using a piece of rectangular 1/4" wall tubing and a couple of bolts and a nut. I attached a picture. Only one side is actually adjustable, the other side is just a bolt through a hole welded to a piece of chain. This way I didn't have to worry about left handed threads. The other side has threads and a nut welded inside for extra threads, with a piece of all thread welded to a piece of chain.

Go to E-Bay and type "Yanmar" in the search box. Someone had a couple nice looking sets for around 30 or 40 bucks. I just saw them today but have seen them before also and I think they are brand new sets that this guy is making to sell.
