Price Check Looking for current pricing for a ck30 hst

Hello all, Im fairly new to this site, Ive been looking for a tractor is the 30 hp range. I have to admit ive been leaning for the new B3030 kabota. From what ive read here the Ck 30 seems to be a nice machine but im a bit confused on its pricing. I thought i read the ck30hst with loader and r4 tires was priced in the mid 15000 range. Yet i called the closest dealer to me and he quoted me a price of 19000. I thought he must be joking... Does anyone have a fairly recent price quote..? Thanks for any help.. Matt

Unless the tires are filled with liquid gold, I think that price is high.

albmn10 . . . the B3030 and the CK30, while they both are 30hp tractors are simply not comparable machines. They are really designed for different types of usage. Both are nice machines but they are different breeds in much the same way that a doberman is different than a greyhound, yet both are the same type of animal. The B3030 is probably the lightest weight of the 30hp tractors, it is probably also the smallest in size. The CK30 is near the other end of the scale in both size and weight. You really need to determine the types of jobs you intend to do to determine which is the better tractor for you in the long run. One will be, but the other won't be. They are simply too different.

You really need to go see this tractor, hey it might be worth 19K! seriously it is a very nice tractor and you should be able to buy one closer to what you were thinking before you talked to your local dealer. Perhaps he gave you a "list price" in case you needed $ 4000 for a farmall cub or 8N ford trade in or something? but before you rule out the CK, go drive one! It will be worth finding a dealer who will work with you...

Hello Bob and Bluechip, The dealer i got the quote from is 25 miles from me. There are 3 more within 50 mile of Albany Ny where im from. I am going to go the the New York Farm show in Syracuse on feb 24-26. As far as what my needs are. I have 5 1/2 acres of various terrain to landscape. I have quite a bit of grading to do, there are many stump piles and concrete slabs scattered from the previous owner. I have a pond to maintain, a 600ft driveway to maintain.Ill be looking for a backhoe attachment down to line to run power to my pond and barn , as well as possible water line to run for new city water. There are also many stumps and logs to drag out of the stream that feeds the pond.Im looking at planting many 6-8ft pines around the property perimiter, like 100 or so.I would also like to keep the option of mowing down the line . I have a 23hp johndeere L130 for mowing, but as i clear the land by the pond i may have up to 3 1/2 acres to mow. I have alot of mulching and gravel to spread as well.. Matt

I just looked at the CK30HST, today. Priced here in Calif,
w/FEL for 16,500. You simply can't go wrong with this machine. From what I've read here, and saw, after visiting
the Big 3. I will also be pricing the CK30HST. Good luck

For the jobs you list the CK30 sounds like a good match. Price seems to vary a lot by the region of the country you live, but I got a quote from a dealer in my area last week of $14000 for the CK30 HST with R4's and FEL. I'm drooling to say the least. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Prices do vary a lot from area to area, but I'm seeing prices ranging from $14,000 to $19,000 for the same machine.
Prices varying by $5,000 seems excessive to me.
( Once again, Kioti showing list prices or allowing dealers to show list prices would help out new buyers..my opinion..)

I was quoted around $16,000 for the same setup last summer.

I agree with you Vince!! That is one subject that I totally disagree with Kioti. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
