Love the old war movies; Sands of Iwo Jima I have always liked...saw it as a kid.
Ahah! We're on the same page now.
ARRGHH!
And I thought YOU were looking for a movie you recalled with the title of "My Dad"! After I found said movie - a 1922 Rin Tin Tin movie, I was coming back to rib you about really going old school on us.
Never mind, I have found the 'page' too!
My personal all time fav comedy is "Young Frankenstein"
Nice Knockers!
With a great theme song sung by Robert Mitchum!
The whole movie is on Youtube:
Thunder Road (1958) - YouTube
Another good Robert Mitchum movie is 'Mr. Moses' ....it's hard to find and rarely on TV but it is a very good movie...
I don't suppose you've seen "Cape Fear"? Not your average Mitchum movie. 1962; with Gregory Peck.
That's the original...a later version was made with Nick Nolte...Mitchum had a cameo role in the remake...
'Mr. Moses' is set in Africa...it is very hard to find on DVD etc...Mister Moses (1965) - IMDb
