Thanks - of course, this really shows that I am no better off than "building my own" on the website and having John Deere deliver it, although I save the 8.2% on the sales tax.

I would offer them $7500 for the used '08. Keep in mind 2 years ago this same machine was retailing for $7995. And I mean "same" machine because these things haven't changed at all since '04. Even the '09 is the same except for the bed. And honestly, I hate to say, you should be around $8450 including the powerlift for the '09 before tax. Good luck.
