I'm still waiting for you to post a pic running all them at the same time:laughing:

I currently have the 5' cutter on the 1920 and the 6' cutter on the TN65. Need to get everything cut this week so I can put them away for the winter.

I used my friends Ford 5000 a few weeks ago to bale when my TN's tire went down. I still like those old Fords and it just makes me dispise the store manager at my local NH dealer even more since I won't buy another blue tractor while he is still there. Its so bad I am actually in the process of buying a Kubota vineyard tractor

i would like to try to keep it closer to home so i won't be eaten up with paying shipping costs.".

figure out what radious in miles is a round 'day' trip for you, and if you are concerned about shipping costs, then focus on machine inside that window. ie.. where you can leave at dark-thirty am, and get home by dark thirty pm, nad just eat 1 day.

for SC.. that puts you likely to florida, georgia, mississippi, w&vg, NC, tenessee, alabama, and kentucky, perhaps the nip end of ohio.

that's a good selection of states to browse... and with some coffee and a trialer and truck and a fist full of money, you can make it there and back on.. say.. a weekend day like saturday and then sleep late on sunday am.. etc.

the road trip to fetch the tractor is just the first start of the adventure... if a longer trip, take a friend to split the driving, get into sunday, and expand that by at least another state , IE.. lousiana, indiana, pensylvania.. etc..

The trip to retrieve the tractor/implements is half the fun of buying. Depending on your time frame, you can take the significant other and take a mini vacation. Leave on Friday and go visit someplace fun near your destination. Then load up and go home on Sunday. Heck, I do that for when I go to the Cleveland Clinic. Its a 4 hour drive there so I just set up my appointment then reserve a hotel room and just spend a couple days there relaxing and having fun with my appointment tossed in the middle.

yep.. done that a few times going to lousiana.. lots of places to stop on 10 and 12 after getting a tractor, before going back to florida.

I don't have a trailer big enough or a big enough truck to pull it(or i think i don't). i have a 2011 GMC sierra CC 4x4 with the 6.2 and 3.73 gears. its rated to pull 10,600 i think. i do have a few friends who do have trucks and trailers large enough so i will spread my search out a bit and maybe take a road trip.

How do you like the max trailer package, 6.2L?? That will be my next truck...

LOVE it! people ask me all the time what kind of mpg i'm getting and my honest answer is i don't know. the truck is all over the place(only has 2,000 miles on it so still getting broken in). i've gotten anywhere from 13mpg with E85 and as good as 18 running 93 octane. mostly it stays between 15 and 16 mpg though. those are mixed driving numbers btw. for the power this truck has over my 2004 Z71, and it being a crew cab instead of extended cab, ill take that possible 1mpg loss all day long. i will suggest getting the 3.73 gears over the 3.42 if you have a choice.
