Looking to buy new sub compact tractor any ideas on what brand?

If you do recall, I did say that Mahindra's Max was the best option on a budget and spec'ed out closer to a CUT than a SCUT...

Last I checked I was given the right to my own opinion. Take it or leave it, I really don't care. The OP asked what brand of SCUTs were the best, I answered with what I believe are the best. No reason for the child's play.

I obviously haven't tested one as they aren't at the dealers lots quite yet, though on the way, and since I don't need a SCUT I won't go seek one out to try it. But I have looked into them out of self interest and they are very good look, sturdy built machines.

To the OP; Get what ever tractor you feel is best. Really not much difference between them when all is considered. The more expensive tractor will be nicer than the less and vice versa. Bobcat/Kioti/Daedong make excellent tractors as well as everyone else out there these days.

To clear up a few things regarding Kioti and Bobcat, yes Daedong/Kioiti builds the Bobcat. As far as a price for the (CT220) tractor. ldr., mid-mower being 12,000, I don't think that is correct. Currently, w/ the Kioti free ldr. program, the CK 20 should be in the mid-13 to 14 range (for a hydro) depending on where you are. A mid-mower and mid-pto is going to add at least 2500 (on the low side).

Kioti has just introduced their sub-compact. It has a 60" mid-deck which is supposed to be offered for the entire CK series, but will require different mounting brackets. No time frame at this point.

the Kioti Subcompact, DS2410, is a rebadge Shibauro. Same as what New Holland offers. It's OK. But if you want a digger, weigth is king. Not withstanding the Max28XL (don't know enough about yet), the CK20/CT220 will outperform every subcompact for digging. Only for finish mowing will the SCUTS have an advantage.

Not sure about price. Guys are buying CT230s for under 15K. So, I'd think a CT220 would be about $2K less there abouts. And at $13K, it's alot of tractor. If you went gear in a Kioti (BC doesn't do gear), you might be talking $12K.

I want all your opinions, and I no that the deere would be the best pick, but I wouldn't be ablable ti get the back hoe because it would be to much, i have been doing some research on the mahindra maxx and it does seem like a great tractor. if you had to guess what do you think the price will be for the mahindra maxx with the fel,mmm, and the bh?
