I prefer MF but as has been said you really need to consider dealership support. Also, take the time to get in the seat and see the advantages/disadvantages of each. As far as pricing is concerned it is a regional thing. To get an idea though of what mark-ups there might be I visit tractorhouse.com, right now there are the following tractors listed on their site;

GC 2410 - 18,700
CC 2450 - 18,500
BX25- 15,800
JD1023 (no hoe) - 14,700.

Prices vary depending on regions, things like shipping to the dealer etc effect their bottom line.

The bx25 would be great for that price! The dealer I really like was the MF and I called another MF dealer just to compare prices and they wanted $20,995 for the gc2410 so I thought I was getting a pretty good deal. I would really like to be in the $18,000 range for the MF and if I could get the kabuta for $15,500 I would be ecstatic lol

The one thing all the dealers said was that if I just gave them a check they would take 10% off the pricebut because I am doing the 0% the dealer gets charged 10% and they pass that on. Not really sure why the call 0% lol. The MF dealer said that he would match the kabuta bx25 price and still offer the financing. Does that still seem to high?

Yes... Too much. You can normally expect 15% off of list price, so even using that theory that he'll charge you 10% for finance, which is too much as well IMO, then you should still be getting 5% off list. Right now you are looking at more than list price, which is terrible for the dealers to even try and sell you one for.

All of those prices seem very high to me. Out of my own interest I looked some of them up and that is beyond list price. Even, assuming the Kubota is talking about the BX25 is $100 over list, the JD is $800 over list and the Massey was $800 over list and I couldn't find a build your own with the Yanmar. None of these have any options besides the loader and backhoe, but these prices are still way higher than they should be. I'd find someone who's willing to make a deal, these guys obviously aren't.

According to the original post maier is in need of a MMM also. Yep that is a noticeable spread to the Deere price but it sounds pretty close if it has some options and sales tax included.

In my area there are several multi line dealers, two with both Kubota and Deere. I guess the dealers are a little more competitive in SE Mich.

For those that say you can get so much more tractor for the money in a bigger cut, consider that there is not really much fewer parts in a scut. Some of us just need the compactness and maneuverability.

I see you are in PA. Have you considered Wallace Tractor and Equipment. He is in PA. He sells Bobcat, Mahindra, and MF. He'll give you a great price and good service too. It doesn't matter where you are in PA. I bought from him and I'm in Maryland. You'd be hard pressed to find a better dealer and his prices are good too. He's in Lake Ariel, which is in north central PA. Reach out to him, he is an active dealer on TBN. He'll email you good quotes.

That would make sense, if they are including a MMM, then that price suddenly goes up $3k and the price sounds a lot better then!

I just visited Wallace's website. He has as low hour (277) MF2610 TLB for like 14,800. That's a nearly new tractor. If you visit him, you can try out all three brands too.

Funny I've never been to his store. I test drove ate other dealers and when I got his quote the price was so good I jumped at it. It was a brand new out of crate tractor and he did an excellent job prepping it.

Didn't realize you were that close to Wallace, sounds like a great deal on the GC2610.
