Looking to buy Yanmar tractor

You got a track hoe or a d5 or d6 with a root rake to get those stumps out? Those pine stumps will rot but you need to wait like 3 years to have them rot out enough where a d4 can just push them over and crush them. You will also have to spray herbicide to kill all the stuff and them burn the crap out of it before you can really run a disk over it.

Check out the YM2500 30hp. which is basicly a JD 850. The one we bought from Spalding has been great and should do what your describing. It's only 2wd but all of my tractors are and never had a problem. This is a pic. of a
5103 2wd 55hp. thats great. Never needed 4wd to the day and been using it for over 4yrs and. haven't gotten stuck yet here in Ga.

How much for shipping?

California, come on you got to be kidding me. Seriously we cant take this guy seriously who on his second post on TBN is trying to sell another newer poster a tractor in broken english. I mean not trying to belittle the guys english or character but he is going about it in the wrong way. He does not tell us what his business name is web page location or anything. This is just as good as the craigslist adds for a 4 yr old JD tractor 5310.. whatever, new bushhog boxblade, has loader etc, wife just left.... and only $5300.

Look at his profile. His type of tractor is a "yanmar genset" and his type of member is a "farmer". Should this not read a business owner or something else?

I would suggest pricing out a new 35Hp. 4wd with a loader. See what the payments are for 48 months. Go to all to dealers within a reasonable distance.
Price out all of the major manufacturers. Check low hour used inventory at each dealer. I would guess that there is a good used tractor to be had, and it would be useful to have the new price quotes as a baseline.

There is nothing worse than having a one of a kind machine!:(

It is expensive to be poor...

I have discovered this and still bought my 2000 even though i could have bought an older ford for the same $. But my circumstances were better with a ym. I live 3 hours from my acerage, and will trailer between places so with my older tow vehicle i needed a light but still capable tractor.

Just something to consider. If my tractor was to never leave my place id buy a decent deisel ford 3000, but untill it never leaves the property this wont be done.

Yes, that's a huge difference. Trailerability. You know, I would never had considered trailerability to be a desireable quality in a tractor. Though I don't see why not. In fact, I'm still having trouble thinking like that ...and that's in spite of the fact that I have a boat on a trailer and wouldn't have one otherwise.
Our tractors rarely leave the place except when someone needs a hand or to mow a field or maybe once a year I might drive one to town to meet friends in the morning at the coffee shop.

Me too. My tractors are beached here for life. They are too heavy to tow offsite with anything I own now, after I got them properly ballasted.

This little Yanmar was hairy enough to bring home. This was approaching maximum rated trailer and car's towing capacity. 100 miles home one day then another 100 over to the ranch the next. I kept waaay far from any other traffic. Everything went fine.

The larger tractor was even hairier, towing with a Trooper only slightly heavier than this Subaru but at least the Trooper had a real truck suspension under it, and using a 4-wheel trailer.
