Long time ago milking started 5AM. Having it be light at that time meant the cows could get milked and the “helpers” (kids) could still get on the bus to school. At least thats the way my community was-when we were a dairy community. And that was important to them.Milking started at sun up. Is that changing?
Those are all gone now-and all gone in many other Communities in the US.
Thats why I believe DST is no longer important-theres a huge drop in small dairy operations. The earlier daylight is no longer needed for them.
I‘m all for the senates vote. Now Congress.
