My previous company and I agreed it would be in our best interest to separate. That is all I will be saying at my interview. Nothing bad needs to be said I will tell the man how much I loved my job

All you need to say, if anything, was the previous job had run it's course, and it was time for you to find a place where your attention to detail, and doing things right the first time will be better appreciated.
Leave it at that, no discussion about mutual agreement to leave.

I just got the best call ever!! It will be working for case equipment. I will be retrained on how to service agricultural equipment. I will not only be retrained but I will be supplied my own truck! This truck has built in tool boxes and possibly a small crane for lifting heavy items. Quite a job possibility to say the least. They want every thing done right. Every time I have talked to a co-worker about a job like this in the past they would tell me that is a bad job for them because it requires work. I don't mind driving from job to job in a company truck servicing farmers equipment

I emailed the company my resume and got an immediate response back. My interview is set for Monday at 10:00 am

So much has changed. A good man used to be able to get a job by knowing someone who knew someone. He would start in the morning and the paperwork would be filled out some time later. Now you have to get by HR, regardless!

Good luck with the interview...and forget about ag stuff. Learn lots about case construction equipment as fast as you can...I may have a few questions for you!

That sir, is a double edged sword if you will. Nepotism and politics are never a good combination and when "knowing someone" is involved, the more likely that nepotsim and politics become the guiding light. In short, I find that being hired on qualifications and experience to be the best route to go - that way all is above board with no one meddling in the middle.

It's like so many other things. All this still takes place at the top, with crime and corruption, so why is it always so BAD when us little bottom feeders aspire to such activity? The Politicians and Wall Street types can steal Billions and get away with it, even when we know about it, and some little guy steals a pack of Gum and he is branded a "CRIMINAL".

remember it they want it done right take the time and get it right
if on the other hand they want it done half ***** then do it that way if told to

sorry guys just happy it happened. I got a call from a case equipment company and they have me scheduled for an interview Monday at 10:00 am. I asked what is required for me to bring he said I'm only required to bring myself. There will be a basic test then an interview and the whole process will take close to an hour and a half
