BTW, I made mention of Kubota's maximum recommended implement weights on the 3PH, which I believe are probably fairly conservative.

Here's some additional data:

Maximum Lift Force @ pins: 1655 lbs

Maximum Lift Force 24" behind pins: 1300 lbs

That's the stock rating ... but my PRV is jacked up 200 psi over stock.

I'm no expert, but I just know that my 5' land plane is all my JD 2720 wants to handle when it gets a bit of rock in it. My driveway is on a hill and with the land plane less than half-full, it's spinning all four tires trying to go uphill. I normally go downhill for that reason, but I want to drag some of the rock that washed down back up the hill. My JD is about the size of your Kubota. The JD may be just a tad heavier, and I usually leave the loader on when using the land plane for a little extra weight.

Anyway, look forward to your build!

Worked out all the hydraulic cylinder attachment points and brackets.

The tailgate cylinder is Lion 2 1/2" bore x 10" stroke 2500 psi cylinder with SAE ports. Surplus Center must have an overstock of them (200+ in inventory) and be trying to move them because they were pretty cheap ($50)

It will provide slightly greater than a 90 degree range of motion, with the present bracket geometry and attachment points.

The blade adjustment cylinder is Wolverine (Prince) 2 1/2" bore x 4" stroke 2500 psi cylinder with SAE ports. A little pricier @ $64.

With the present bracket geometry and attachment points, it will provide a blade adjustment range of roughly minus 1 1/2" (cutting edge depth below the skids ... variable, depending on exactly where on the carrier I mount the cutting edge) to a positive height over 9" above the skids (again, varies on cutting edge mounting)

There is a potential interference issue with the top of the blade and my SpeeCo Quick Hitch ... but it's fairly slight. Might see if I can fix that.

If you haven't already, trying filling the bucket on the FEL ... it'll get ya a little more traction ... wet soil or gravel works good ... ;)

Have similar issues with our 3PH snowblower (no chains, R4's) ... always blow downhill ... :D

Yup, it is ... very similar machines tho' ...

Thanks ... enjoy !

Non-perspective (flat) sideview with blade up. (You can see the potential inference issue):

A perspective three-quarter view:

(Might be more like 10:00 or 11:00 ...)

Last time, I decided I was going to try that next time. ;) Thanks for the tip!

Sure do wish I could operate a computer to make pretty drawings like that. Got "sketchUp" downloaded, but too dumb to do anything with it:laughing:
