ok ,Once you get his stump out do you:
1. take it away and dump it and fill the hole
2. flip it over in the hole and bury it in the same hole
3. none of the above.

I load em in the dump trailer and haul em off. Or burn them. But that takes a while.

Hey all, been a while since I posted but I've been lurking forever, got a new backhoe put on my 2012 R3039 last week and figured I'd leave a quick review of it. It's been great so far. I've dug lots of bushes and several tree stumps up with it so far. Takes just a few minutes to get used to it and know what it can do. I'm currently working on the biggest stump I've tried as of yet. It's about a twelve in diameter oak stump. It's going kind of slow but I'm just messing around with it a little at a time. The backhoe has done everything I've asked if it. Just takes a little patience. I have yet to get some pics of it. I forget when I'm in the seat. It's a great little digger and it sure beats a shovel. It's fairly strong for what it is and breaks most roots pretty easily. I'll get some pics as soon as I can. If you're considering adding one or ordering your new LS with one I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Jesse, which brand backhoe did did you get? LS? Could you post pictures of it and how it mounts?

Late last year I was looking for a LS backhoe for my R3039 and was told there were no subframe mounts available and it would take a very long time to get and would be special order and lots of $$$.

I bought an Ansung backhoe and am currently looking for ideas on fabricating my own subframe mount.

Nice pics..... thanks
Can you get the LS backhoe with a hydraulic thumb? To me it's a deal breaker without one!

Sorry for the late reply, I've been busy digging electrical line trenches, water line trenches, and stumps this weekend. I purchased an LS backhoe. I called my purchasing dealer to see about one back in June. They said the same it wasn't available for my tractor. I called another dealer down around Augusta ga and they were much more helpful. It's true they don't have a subframe for the older R3039 anymore. The subframe on the XRs are slightly longer. To make it work they had to make about a half inch notch in where the subframe slides into the front receiver mount. Also I had to give up my drawbar slot for the rear receiver but that was no problem for me Bc I never used it anyways. As far as cost it wasn't anymore expensive than others. I paid 7500 including labor, shipping, and bucket cost. So far it has been worth every penny.
