My tractor is being shipped this way tomorrow morning so in the next 10 days I should see it. I will send pics as soon as I get it here. We have alot of snow this year, on track for a record, so there will be lots to shovel when she gets here!

Went ahead and also decided to get a grapple bucket. I have spent countless hours trying to get brush loaded in the bucket before and I am ready to do more moving of brush and logs and less handling of them.

Hope ya'll dont mind the orange in here,congrates on new tractor,I will say the LS looks alot better than the NH,just curious about them....

Well my wife is from Texas, as is most my family so we can forgive the orange! Heck, regarless of the color, any tractor is better than no tractor.

I just sold my older ford to a fella down the road that has been haying with horses for years and gave in on mechanical assistance. One man's older tractor is another mans new luxury liner. That being said, I can't complain about the color as long as my tractor doesn't eat oats.

What is best price anyone has found on a 3038? and 3039?

Not sure which one I will go with. I have 30ac of slash pine and 2 ac of garden at the moment. I will be clearing another 8ac of scrub oak, pine, and trash and put in a few pecan trees.

Up here (Alaska) the 3039 w/loader is $23,600. Not that it really helps you but if your price is this high or higher you are paying too much as we have to deal with shipping costs.

It's a 10 day barge ride from Seattle. Good for keeping the country wild, bad for keeping shipping prices down.

Dang. Wish I was in NC. I was quoted $30K and change for a 5020 without cab! Price to pay for living in Alaska. Are you buying there in NC?

I just bought the 5020c model with a FEL for 33k before the 2k discount so 31k didnt seem to bad. The dealer is also delivering it for free from Wasilla to Nikiski Alaska. Approx. 200 miles or so.

I am definetly loving it! i cut down 3 trees, knocked down 4, limbed them and cut to 12' lengths and then moved all the logs with two trips and the entire brush pile in around an hour. It would have normally taken me 3 to 4 times that to get everything all cleaned up.

I just got a quote for the new LS xr4046hc with the backhoe and a 16" bucket for $32070. what do you all think?

I think you had better jump on that deal before the dealer changes his mind. I'm being quoted approx $29,600 without the backhoe.

Any dealer that offers me that tractor for $32,070 with a backhoe had better be ready for a sale.
