Got a R4041 which starts alright.
When I hit the accelerator the engine dies.
Replaced the fuel filter. Fuel shutoff valve works. Fuel is getting to the injectors.
Not sure what is wrong.
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks.

How's the air filter?

Interesting.

Does it do it sitting still in neutral, simply revving up the engine? Or does it do it while trying to move? Here is what I'm getting at, maybe your brakes are locked up somehow?

If it's dying without a load on the engine, simply revving it up, but runs fine at an idle... filters are all good, fuel is getting to your rail, then that leave me with clogged injectors or not enough fuel pressure.

I’m going w supply pump not feeding the inj pump when it needs more fuel.
THAT or clogged screen in the tank..

When you say it dies, does it turn the key off die, or sputter down die? If it's turn the key off die, it could be something simple like the safety switch in the seat going bad. Mine acts up on me when the temperature get colder.

Customer of mine had that issue on a BX Kubota. It was a blown accessory fuse that ran the pump.

Sorry for being late with the reply. It does it in neutral as well as in gear. Does it anytime you try and accelerate.

It sputters and dies. Thanks.

Interesting thought. Will have to check that. Thanks.

Disconnect the fuel feed line and run it in a bucket.. turn the key to get the supply pump ticking and watch the fuel.. let it run a minute or so and watch the delivery out of the line.. if it slows down any, u gotta supply pump issue..
If it starts blowing foam, u have a clogged screen in the tank, is my guess..
How about reaching up an loosening the tank cap and see if flow picks up.. if yes, u gotta clogged cap vent..
Good luck
