LS Tractor Oil, Gas, & Air Filter Information

Checked LS filter kits the 4100 series doesn't have a prefilter it's a 5 piece filter kit , the 4000 series is a 6 piece filter kit ....wonder if ls upgrade the main fuel filters for the 4100 ....seems a bit odd

arits74 and Kc8ehd are correct.....checked the manual and no pre-fuel filter for the 4145. Seems odd.....I guess you could add an inline pre-fuel filter if you wanted one. I would....adds a little more protection.

Gearing up for my first service on my XR4150H, I believe I got these WIX numbers correct. Question though, the Hyd filter (51715) says it has a 35 micron rating. I thought I had read on here it was a 10 micron or that I needed a 10 micron. Any help would be appreciated - Thanks
Go to Home Page or WIX Filters, Wix oil filters, WIX air filters, Wix Heavy Duty Oil filters - Home they will have a listing for your tractor , their filters if listed will meet OEM requirements or better , Napa is a rebranded wix filter they will have a cross on their website also , hope this helps
I have a 2017 XR4140 cab tractor with a syncro gear transmission. Its time for my 50 hour service and I want to change my hydro filter. My book calls for ISO VG 46/68. My question is what oil are y'all using? I guessing I'll lose a gallon or so. Thanks for the help.

I use TSC brand. Travelers premium hydraulic fluid. Its good for all HST tractors including Kubota and Deere.

Several have posted that they have been successfully using the $7 Fram TG3593A in their G3033 or G3038 CUTs. I am not a Fram fan but, while I don't find a domestic cross for that Fram filter, not even a Fram Ultra, I don't give up easily. So, I checked applications and found that this Fram filter is used widely - including in the 2007 SUBARU OUTBACK 3.0L V6. Running this car through the WIX applications manual, Ta Da, I find that it uses the WIX 51334XP. WIX is a filter I respect, especially because it can be had for $10.

You CAN NOT USE 303 in newer equipment.
