Thanks Steve, I am glad there is information for others here. Been digging for a half hour now, no issues (yet), its cold 30 degrees and windy, I am in to warm up now.

I used the magnetic heater idea this morning, Thanks Bob!!!

Steve, I do have a pressure gauge at my left foot, reads 2,200-2,300 when I am working it.

First problem for today, I broke this pin, anybody have and idea for a replacement to get me going again for today? I will shop online for one tomorrow.

There is a little stub left I am going to try and use, 2nd thought is to take one off the thumb which I am not using today, I am open for other ideas,

For one thing, it doesn't have to be round. You can fabricate a replacement from a small piece of 3/8" or 5/16" flat stock. You had some pretty good twisting forces there to break the lock pin, make sure the cylinder pin is well greased.

Maybe I'm seeing things, but I think you have a larger problem. The hole for the cylinder pin looks seriously out of round.

I think there will be a lot of force working at that joint and any fix you implement now is very temporary, and catastrophic failure is not far away.

I looked at my HW04 in same area and it has a roll pin and big washer. You can find these parts anywhere locally. I'd run a wire down the center of the roll pin and secure both ends to the bolt. This will keep you going.

I used a common eyebolt for now, but there is a twisting force going on in that bucket pivot point, its bent already.

There is some kind of twisting force going on that I do not understand on that keeper.

I pulled the piece with the hole for the cylinder pin out for the pic, I think it is round and fine, will check again, see new pics below.

I'd remove the locking bolt/pin and make sure the pivot pin turns freely inside the bore of the cylinder rod end. There should be no binding. I'd also remove the pin entirely and inspect the condition of that bore and look for localized wear or gouging.

Maybe I'm getting fooled by some dirt or corrosion, it's hard for me to tell. I'm looking at the area at about the 8 o'clock position around the pin in post 52. The hole looks oversized or out of round. Maybe it's my monitor or something. I apologize if I worried you over nothing. :ashamed:
