M6040 Cab

Drove by dealer yesterday and there was an M6040 Cab on the lot. Did not have time to talk price but did get in an look it over.

The view and lay-out looks great. I compared it to an M6800 Cab parked behind it. The AC not in the roof makes alot of difference in the view.

I was worried about the AC blowing on my knees but it looks like you can direct the air flow away from you.

Anyone else seen the Cabs?

I am going to try and get back by this week and take it for a test drive.

Just wanted to share that the Cabs seem to be arriving.

I have a m5700 with the ultra II cab on it. the AC system is under the seat. The ducts are in the roof as well. So you can select where you want the air to blow.And it keeps the cab nice and cool.

Since that post of mine on 5-25-06, I bought a L5030 Cab. While deciding, I drove an M7040 Cab. WOW!! I knew I didn't need a tractor that large, but the seat alone made the cab version of the M series my favorite drive of everything I test drove (about 6 different tractors).
