Well guys I guess she isn't a baby anymore.

About two hours ago, while loading a trailer with hay, my little girl rolled 1,000 hours.

I had a swig of bourbon and thought of all the things we've done together over the past few years. All the trees we've grubbed, bushes we've hogged, posts driven and cows fed.

A toast for her tonight guys, to 1000 trouble free hours and many to come.

Ah, another trailer to load, well as Crash always says, more later!

My M7040 is not far behind your tractor as it has 936 hrs on the hour meter.

She is just getting broken in. Hope you you have many thousands more to come.

Bottoms up. (In no way is this a reference to tractor position.)

she is just getting used to working good.

Interestingly the RTV passed the same milestone a few weeks ago as well, can't wait to report on the next 1000 hours for both.

As far as I can remember the only problems have been FEL related.

--When it was fairly new the hydraulic hoses on the lift cylinders failed. The hoses actually blew out of the crimped fitting, a few weeks apart. Dealer had Gates hoses made locally on his dime.

--A little later the bucket got stuck in the a dumped position, which ultimately required a new loader valve. Kubota got to eat that one.

Sure there have been tire related issues, but I am hard on them and take full credit for them.

Well they are warmed up and broken in and now ready for thousands more hours.

It sounds like you have a very minimal amount of problems in the first 1000 hours. How long have you had the tractor?

Mine's sitting in the hay barn (I hope). I'm just using it to load hay this winter. Coming up on 2400 hr.

I've had my M9540 27 months and it's at 750hrs. Very dependable tractors. I've not had any repairs. I ran it 6 hrs today hauling busted concrete with the Grapple Bucket. It worked flawlessly, as always.

I'm still on all 4 original tires (poking a stick in Derek's eye). :D

I've been a slacker, didn't follow up on my own post. Sorry.

Bought 10/06/11.

Still owe about 12k and then she is mine! I make yearly payments.

Where are you in SWVA? We may have the same dealer!

Yeah yeah!

Confession time. :)

I ran over a T post stob and burst a rear tire, don't do that. Mucho dinero.

BTW, I bought some replacement front Titan bias ply tires by accident, if you run on the road, don't waste your money.
