Considering replacing my M9960HDC12 ROPS with a 2011 M9540HDC24. This is a long story so I will not go into the rationale for potentially doing so.

The 9540 in question has about 400 hours and appears to be in excellent condition.

My 9960 has about 40 hours and is definitely in EXCELLENT condition.

Replacement will require swapping some of the options from my 9960 to the 9540, which I will do so myself.

Replacement will also require cash purchasing the 9540 and selling my 9960 myself after swapping said options. Finances no problem.

Any thoughts on the cash market value of a 2011 M9540HDC24 with 400 hours and in excellent condition and the market value of a 2015 M9960HDC12 ROPS with 40+ hours , also in EXCELLENT condition?

Both tractors have Kubota loaders and cast centers.

Thanks, in advance.

Really want the 24 speed trans?

No idea on how much you’d be in the black on

Yes, and plans have changed so can now use a cab tractor. Plans precluded a cab when buying the 9960.

Really would not expect to come out in the black here.

I don't think you will regret the cab or the 24 speed. The biggest draw back to the lower end Kubota's is the gearbox speed choices. The 24 takes care of it in spades.
