A coulter wheel mounted just ahead of the shank and adjustable for height would be great. That would slice sod and shallow roots and prevent the drag and buildup of that surface trash on the beam and upper frame when pulling at full depth.
On a side note, while looking at water tanks at Oscheln's and Tractor Supply I saw this little jewel and why I really want the shear bolt.
The pins looked like they were bigger in diameter, but they didn't have anything with Cat 1 laying close by to confirm.Probably done with tractors over 35hp. Thats the limit on those. They have another model for tractors up to 85hp I believe.
