my new tractor as well as many others on this site have electrical problems. I have been in contact with mahindra and my dealer on this matter. mahindra will no longer speak to my dealer, who has done bussiness with them for years. My dealer wants mahindra to pick up all remaining tractors on there lot if there arent going to stand behind there product. you should note that my dealer is no longer ordering new tractors anyway. they have not had many problems with mahindra tractors, until mine. i have got the run around from mahindra's rep, trying to tell me about good business. however here i sit with a tractor in my garage that will not start with the key, leaks on the floor and drains the battery. a dealer thats to busy and angry with mahindra and mahindra doing a George Bush impresion. (not admitting there is a problem)

I have only had 3 problems with my tractor and my dealer was outstanding on the two. My bigest was the 4wd was disengaging all the way and the shifting forks were grinding on the side of a gear. I took care of the bad ground my self and he replaced a battery with a bad cell for me. Great tractor. The Mahindra Rep even came to the dealer (after a little help from MUSA on this site) to help with the 4wd problem. I would by another. If I ever win the lottery I will own several. (one for each implement)

I've been following your threads for a couple of weeks. You were starting to get my empathy, that is, until you had to go and bring politics into it. Sorry bud, but you've lost me now.

I have to agree with Bob, there's no place for politics on this board. Also, your experiences with your tractor seem to be exceptional compared to the rest of us. It does not do you service to drag mahindra through the mud and tell everyone to beware. There are good dealers and bad dealers, and I suppose good reps and bad reps. It seems the negative always gets discussed more than the positive.

My dealer has been exceptional. I have had a few minor issues with my tractor, which they have fixed no questions asked. They even took a hazard switch off a new tractor so they could get it back to me so I could use it for a project. I've had a decent amount of trouble with my backhoe pump but that seems more bradco's issue than mahindra. Again, my dealer has even bought parts from another dealer and ate the cost just to get the tractor back to me. They pick up and deliver for free for warranty items. They gave me a whole set of filters for my first change free.

Also the mahindra marketing guy sent me an addition to my service manual when I realized it did not yet cover the 6500 express mail and I had it the next day. You say mahindras support is bad. I consider it amazing to this date.

Mahindra is not going to make everyone happy, but I think if you meet them halfway they will do the same. In the end they want a happy customer.

Best of luck to you.

ive had two small warrenty items since last march, didnt really like the attitude i got at the dealer but i did get parts delivered to my house from mahindra in just a few days both times, they were great. i also agree with bob, you lost me to with the political stuff.

I think its funny that some of you are getting mad over his Bush knock...who cares. This guy is having problems with his Mahindra tractor, no matter what color he is or what his political views are he needs help! So are you "Mahindra" guys not going to help him?

I will just say this, we were a Mahindra dealer years ago and ran into some of the same problems. I hope for your sake you can find someone on this board who is willing to help. No one, no matter what political affiliation, should have to put up with the NEW tractor problems you are suffering. Wish I could help, good luck.

Mahindra needs to stand by their product for sure but, I'm not convinced that you don't have mostly a dealer problem. The above reference leads me to believe that might be possible.

This won't further your cause a great deal.

I did not perceive Justin's mention of a political person as a political statement. If I had my tractor sitting in the shed and couldn't use it for a month, I too would be furious. I'm fairly certain that Justin used it as a example that the rest of us could identify with. We're splitting hairs right now to a fellow that is frustrated and has run out of sources to listen to him. Somewhere along the line, Mahindra was insulted by words expressed by either the dealer or Justin. Unfortunately, spoken words cannot be erased and someone is going to have to apologize to Mahindra and start a fresh page. I cannot believe Mahindra would turn their back to a warranty item. If they did, it was because of profanity on someone's part and then they have a right to hang up. If the dealer was willing to demand that the rest of his Mahindra products be picked up - he wasn't much of a dealer because the brand sells itself. I, myself , have seen an inordinate amount of problem with the "10" series with the electrical system. Perhaps it is the biggest seller too for Mahindra and there for a greater instance of failure.

Justin, fill out your profile as well as a lot of newcomers to this the forum. I know of my territory rep but when you refuse to fill in the blanks, no one can offer help with names and telephone numbers. You aren't giving your social security number when you fill in the state you live in. Also, don't start another thread involving the same problem - it is tough to keep up with you. I understand your frustration at this point and I'd be ready to try anything at this point too. MUSA came into this site and got alot of problems solved. Suddenly we hear no words from him. Either he was reprimanded and told to back off from this site or fired for his willingness to help us. His absence is our loss.

Botton line Justin, you have a case going for you. If nothing else - hire a lawyer. Please keep us informed of the outcome and the best of luck to you in resolving this.

The truth hurts and someone forgot to tell Justin this was a site for only good things about Mahindra or atleast that's the feeling I have gotten in the past. I understand this guys mad as all get out. I too have had problems with my Mahindra, although I gotta admit I'm more disappointed in myself and the dealer than Mahindra. As for the Bush knock I'm with you guy!
