I think it would be fair for Justin to post the dealers phone # so that we can get the other side of this tale.
How do we know this is even for real? (no offence)

If Justin really wants his tractor fixed he should post the name & phone # of the dealer so that we mahindra dealers can call him & discuss whats going on, (its only fair)

Then if the dealer is a flake, we call Mahindra and have a chat with them.

Oneway or another his tractor will be fixed if its under warranty,Mahindra will stand behind it, they are a good co. trying to make a good name for them selves here.

How about it justin ??

If I was in your shoes Justin I'd sure post (or PM) my dealer's name even if you do so in your profile so you might get some help! Who knows maybe these other dealers can help you resolve your issues.

( The dealer did not engineer, design, nor build the tractor! How is it a leap that it's Mahindra's fault for the starting problem? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
So geuss that means that if I buy a new truck and it won't start it's the dealer's fault? )

Because unless it is every tractor and truck having the same problem it is a dealer issue. If 30% of every tractor sold was having the exact same problem then yes it is a engineering issue.

That is why GM and Ford have recalls that are fixes not under warrenty. If there is a problem with a car, then it is fixed, if there is the same problem or potential problem with a whole bunch of the same model, then there is a recall.

I'm not seeing the need for the recall yet.

With a different brand of tractor, I was having a consistant issue with my tractor. The manufacturer blamed the dealer, and the dealer blamed the manufacturer. I posted here and had a bunch of non-helpful guys blame me. As far as I'm concerned, you can invite those sort to kiss your hind quarters.

I squeaked loudly enough to finally get someone to look at what I was pointing out, and low and behold, I had a bad lift cylinder on my FEL. I feel that I should have not have had to go through all the crap I did in order to get it fixed, but I did finally get it replaced. What's disappointing is when people here on TBN simply do not like the brand of tractor they own and tout being spoken about in a less than positive manner. As I said, I see no place for those people. They are not helpful, and hiding or masking an issue does nobody any good.

Hopefully you have gotten the attention of someone who knows what to do, and is willing to help. Good luck, and don't get discouraged from the brand brainwashed that lurk here.

Dargo said, "don't get discouraged from the brand brainwashed that lurk here."

/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif That should be in the FAQ's for new users of this site. I try not to be a brand fanboy, but it's difficult sometimes. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Does it mean that all of that seires of tractor was crap because you were the unlucky one to get in the middle of a urination duel between your dealer and the manufacturer??
Or does it mean that the problem was a dealer vs manufacturer issue that could have been fixed if they had zipped up and helped you out?

Being a previous Mahindra owner, and not having any complaints with the 4110 other than the 511 hoe, which, was rectified almost immediately between Mahindra and Johnson auto, the dealer, all I get from this is several things,, One, there is no profile filled out so how do you expect people and some dealers on here to help the situation? Two, it seems to me to be 100% dealer problem. Either the dealers mechanics are not knowledgable on the product, the dealer themselves or a combination of both,,, THe last thing that really troubles me is the phrase about George Bush, Whether you like or dislike him in his position has absolutely no bearing on the tractor problem. I read where a somewhat apology was offered, however, some others were in agreement with that statement.... Personally, if I was the dealer, I'd tell you to take your problem elsewhere,,, That last statement really bothers me, and the attitudes that prevailed afterwards,,,,

Ladies and Gentlemen, I suggest we don't reply, comment or otherwise give credence to this thread until such time as all truthful information is forthcoming from the original poster.
