Criticism is always welcome, as well as bringing ones tractor problems to fellow TBN'ers in order to find a solution. I think a key issue is to do it intelligently, rationally, and in a adult manner.

It has been stated numerous times by the owners of this site that political commentary is not welcome. Let's keep it tractors and related interests.

I understand this guys mad as all get out. I too have had problems with my Mahindra, although I gotta admit I'm more disappointed in myself and the dealer than Mahindra. )</font>

If that was happining to me I would be jumping ugly to. However you 2 guys are having problems and the rest of us are not. Saying its a dealer issue is a fair guess. If Mahindra is hosing the dealer then there may be a problem. Doesnt seem to be with the Mahindra dealers that post here. Or the norm of the warrenty work that has been done to folks tracttors here.

I had 2 repairs, neither were warrenty.

Trust me, if I get hosed I will be all over here. That hasn't happened so what do you want me to do? Make something up so you can go "SEE!!!!" ?

first of all i gotta say i am sorry about the bush joke, i did not mean to afend anyone. with that said i would like to also say that i have no political platform or agenda as far as im conserned it shouldnt matter between party lines and they should abolish them all together it just divides people its does not unify them. i believe all men are created equal: black, white, red, dem. or rep. may the best man win. i however believe that i am held accountable for my actions, just the way i was reaised i guess. call a spade a spade. anyway i will remember to never to that again.

which brings me to my point that the replys to my post have had little to only minor problems, however there were also replies from people that did have major problems and they have gone through the same problems as me. mahindra apparently has no problem with the little problems but when it comes to problems that you have had over and over again, they are not willing to listen.

you should also note that my letters and conversations never were hostile, i know better than that. however i dont know about my dealer though. and if you do call around to dealers about the 10 series you will find that they are having electrical problems all minor but still problems.

i am sorry for any trouble i may have caused i found this site helpful in the past when i just wanted to talk about tractors. however now i need some action - i realize i may be venting to you all. i thank you for reading and putting up with my poor spelling. this is my final post. good-bye

Thats why I said I would be jumping ugly if this was happining to me. I cant say exactly what I would do but I wouldnt have been as nice as you. I also see that most of the folks that have had problems have had them fixed. The only difference has been the dealer.

The 2810 is the Mitsu tractor correct? Is there a similar problem with the Cub Cadet model?

I work for a mahindra dealer in GA and as far as 10-series problems we have had very few . The ones with electrical troubles have been the hst units not the gear models . And when we have somthing that needs assistance Mahindra has been great to get tech support to call us to resolve these problems . I am sorry you are having problems but Mahindra has been good to help us out . Compare all brands and you will find that a good dealer makes a big difference in your total satisfaction . Our dealership is not large but we sell quite a few tractors and we try to treat our customers like we would want to be treated ourselves so don`t give up on the product because overall Mahindra make a good product.

justinbechard,

I appreciate your most recent comments and certainly hope you do not stop posting in this group. Were all here to help each other, and while it may be frustrating when you don't get the answers you seek it doesn't mean you have to stop.

I certainly hope at this stage that you are bypassing your dealer and going directly to mahindra. If the rep is a problem, go straight to the president if you have to. I think you've had plenty of visibility here and I am sure the marketing rep has been following this. If you have documented trouble that is the result of manufacturing and not misuse or neglect as you say you do and you are still under warranty then there shouldn't be any problem here. Like a previous poster said legal advice is probably critical at this point.

Sorry if we jumped on you about the politics. We all love tractors (when they are working!) and when we come here that's what we want to talk about. There used to be a warning about this on the site in the faq or somewhere but it appears to be gone now.

Still no profile, no dealer name, no location. Hmmmm. Methinks, you should rectify....BobG in VA

Justin,
Don't stop posting here, I think this forum will be of great help to you. There are some great dealers on this site that will try to help you out (it seems some are already). Do everyone a favor and fill out your profile. There may be another dealer in the area that frequents this forum. Try a PM to musamarketing to see if he can help, we haven't heard from him in awhile, I hope he's still around. Don't let up on Mahindra, keep the phone calls going, move up the ladder as has been suggested. I've been real fortunate to not have trouble, as I no longer have a local dealer. I'm hoping Mahindra rectifies that as soon as possible. If I do have any issues, they will definetly be posted and I will seek help from the collective knowledge base here.

Why does it seem that you guys attack someone who has problems then? I mean with my issue it seemed the problem to you wasn't that my tractor was not performing properly but that I wanted the dealer to come get it. People jumped in saying oh transport isn't covered under warranty, who cares, I just wanted the thing fixed. Now with Justin we gotta find the problems with his situation that might shift blame to a dealer or to him that way Mahindra isn't to blame. Let's face it Mahindra has problems ( so do the other brands I'm sure I just don't own them) and we should all join together and stand behind each other to solve these problems. The more they are called on their problems the less likely the problems will be to reappear!
