Mahindra 4110 PTO wont work

Mine does the same thing and has for awhile, it will come on in about 5 min or so, what really helps is if before your going to use it turn it on a couple times a week. For what ever reason if you don't use the PTO for awhile it takes a few mins for it to engage. I usually just hook up my attachment turn it on and drive to where I am working and it will start up soon.

finally got the new pump for south korea. Dealer installed it but the PTO still wont work. The electric solinoid works, I checked that. The filters are all clean, new oil,If the loader is raised high then suddlenly lowered then stopped suddely the PTO will kick in. soon as the loader is raised it will stop.

Sounds like your oil level is low?

Right on. I read with interest.

My pto went out and two of the big gears were broke. Easy to inspect. lots of $$$ to buy parts. Had about $700.00 not counting fluid
and my guys labor with helper. We made one mistake , a coupler connecting one gear from pto gears to front transmission fell into
bottom of front tranny Had to pull tractor apart to to get connector connected.

2 main PTO gears broke. I believe they broke from a big Woods brush hog, causing jolt to gears when hitting stump that stalled tractor. Unless, maybe the gear was
defective?
Any other ideas out there? Had 800 hrs when pto went down, now runnin fine. My 4110 handled the 840 woods hog OK, but hog may be too big for it.
However, I pull a 90 inch woods finish mower, and 4110 handles like a toy.

I have a 4010 HST, my PTO won稚 engage at all. Was cutting today and it just stopped. When I push the button to engage, I hear a change in the cadence of the engine. When I go back to the pto shaft coming out of the tractor, I can spin it freely by hand where before I could not. Any thoughts?

My problem was that big fancy lighted switch!! I went bought a 5$ rocker swith that fit in the hole that is on the colum and hot wired the solenoid, now I turn the switch on the PTO starts. Another thing, that big switch must be wired to a bunch of stuff including the temp guage because when I used to turn the PTO on the guage would raise 50 degrees and go down when turned off, these tractors have electrical issues!!!
