This sounds crazy even to me...I've had this 6000 since new in early 2003....as you sit in the seat on the left side down and back from the "power beyond" lever is a second lever that goes into the trans/differential...To my knowledge, I've never used that lever at all...I've looked it up in the 6000 parts manual and can't find it...(maybe I'm blind)...Does anyone know what that lever does (I'm sure I knew when I bought it but have no idea now...) thanx, BobG in VA

Although your description is very precise - I'm thinking a picture may help.

Could be 3 point lift speed and lock control valve.

Surely your not talking about the PTO?

what are you calling a power beyond??

Does your tractor have 2 separate PTO levers? Does the lever in question have a T type grip on it?

Any yes a picture would most definitely help...….. I think?

It does have two levers, but the main one is in front of this one...(independent PTO), but the other one is in the back above the actual PTO shaft to go from 540 to 1000rpm...I'll try and get a pic this afternoon...I'm surprised that a Mahindra dealer hasn't chimed in with the actual answer...BobG in VA PS: Differential lock is on the other side behind your right foot...PSS: no T handle, the 4wd lever is also infront of and to the left of your left foot...

I think that Navasot is a Mahindra dealer.

Picture is for sure going to help, I think??

Your owner's manual does not show this?

There were two different set ups on the 6000s. They had the live one that used a dual clutch in the main clutch pack and one pto lever... then they had the dual set up... if you have two levers and its independent one is for your PTO clutch and the other is to actually put the pto in gear... the process would be pto clutch (which I think was the outside one) disengage (forward) then put the pto lever (inside one) in the back position... then you engage the pto clutch by putting it back in the back position...

the 4wds were at the tail end of the 00 series... I know they went to a single engage independent when they went to the 30 series but could have been in those also.... the only other lever I could even think would be there would be the 4wd and maybe the Aux valve lever (rear remotes)
