Does the drain valve screw in and out, or does it just pull out. I have operator and service manuals, and neither tell how to open it. The manuals just say to open. It also says there is a second drain on the "left side of the crank." No idea where that on is to drain the block. Thanks

Not familiar with your particular machine, but the drains are almost certainly threaded. The "left side of the crank" must be a typo, likely somewhere on the left side of the block. I guess that's technically on the left side of the crankshaft (?).

Use care on the radiator drain if it's plastic. They have a tendency to snap off. I just remove the lower radiator hose to drain the radiator and most of the block.

On mine, there is a pipe plug on the left side of the block- it's behind a lot of stuff so hard to see at first- but it's there!

I found the block drain just above the starter. The problem with the lower radiator hose draining is that the radiator has a metal tube that is part of the radiator that comes off the bottom of the radiator and extends up 6-8 inches and then the rubber hose attaches to that. So, you could never fully drain the radiator via that method. The radiator drain valve is not wanting to unscrew. I may run the engine until it heats up to see if heat will help it any. Thanks for the input.
