Here痴 a picture from a Mitsubishi manual believe you壇 should be similar. Mahindra had problems with the solenoid on a number of the max tractors and replaced them under warranty. Might want to check with the dealer

is this sealant available anywhere? is it necessary. i was told to just screw the solenoid in and no one mentioned the selant? and can another selant be used since this 1212 is not avialable?

Not sure if it’s needed. Didn’t see any signs of oil or diesel when I did mine. Forget whether I used a couple wraps of Teflon tape or some pipe dope

ok thanks last question for now. did you just remove and replace and that was pretty much it or are there more procedures involved. thank you.

I removed mine, bench tested it and installed a new one.
Disconnect the electrical connector which can be a pain in the $#^. Barely loosen the locknut. Unscrew and remove the solenoid. Measure from edge of the locknut to the end of the threads on the solenoid. Put the locknut on the new solenoid so its the same distance from the end of the solenoid threads. Screw the new solenoid in until the locknut contacts the pump body and tighten the locknut. Reconnect electrial. I put dielectric grease in connector to help keep it clean and dry.Thats it
