Mahindra new US owners????

well i finally got my tractor back this afternoon after 2 months - mostly waiting for glowplugs and gowpluge timer or some such thing. the driver told me that mahindra was boughten from the Indian manufacturer by some US company. anyone hear of this or have any details. He also said the US company is worse than the Indain company. thanks.
