Thank you Dave, you have been a lot help with good information. I would Pay for the up grade if it will work. Dave where do you get a mega radiator made and will it fit in my 6110? You say also look into a condenser that doesn't catch chaff so badly? What kind of condenser would I buy? I have no problem putting some money into my tractor to make it better and stop these problems I have had. we clean the radiator and screens all the time to try and not have these kind of problems. My tractor has over heated with the AC on even when cutting grass that is only 6 inches high with my 12 ft bush hog. I have always had AC problems from the first day when I bought this tractor, but it wasn't until Dave when the fan blade and belt broke in July that I started having over heating problems with my tractor. It was right after that the compressor started locking up and squealing when I turned my AC on. The AC still worked good but within 1/2 hour cutting my grass the tractor would start over heating and that would be the end of using my tractor for that day. If you have any answers to my questions Please let me know. Thank you again. Sammie

I'm sure it can't be this clear cut but is there a chance when the fan broke it bent over some of the radiator fins?

Also, if the radiator was damaged to the point of leaking is there a chance the radiator shop sealed off some of the tubes that were leaking?

Sammie, as far as the radiator, I would first do a really good look to see if it is clogging, or if it is the condenser clogging. Or both. I talked to a dealer in Texas that sold a lot of cab tractors for a competing brand. He was having the same issues, hot condenser and high head pressure causing too frequent cycling and failure. In his quest to solve this, he experimented by removing every other fin from the AC condenser. It took him several hours of tedious work but he swore that dropped the heat and therefor the pressure and solved the issue. I wish we had a AC or cooling expert that would chime in. On this awesome forum, often a discussion will start and all of us armchair quarterbacks will give opinions, and then some true expert will enlighten us. But absent that, we can continue the discussion.

To get a mega radiator I can think of about three options. Two are time consuming and maybe frustrating. The third is easy enough, but expensive. One idea is to look at a similar tractors with higher HP and see if the radiator could be made to fit. The 6110 is a TYM based unit. If you were at a farm show and walked the show and looked at radiators in the 60-100 HP range, especially Korean makes, you might stumble onto something that could be made to fit. Secondly you might also go to a really good auto parts place or radiator supply place and ask them if you could browse their radiator spec catalog. They will give core dimensions, amount of rows, inlet location and size, etc. Probably some mount tabs would have to be fabricated. Not easy work. Lastly, contact a customer radiator place. There is a place in Oregon that does ag type radiators and AC condensers and right on their front page for Ag they state the debris problem and how they make them with wide spacing. They can make up anything. Probably you have such a place in your region. I have not used this place, but check out Agriculture - Radiator Supply House

Reb954 Thank you for your reply. My dealer came out since I only live 8 miles away and replaced the fan blade and belt. I would think that they checked the radiator out before replacing the fan blade.

Not wanting to hijack this thread but as indicated my Mahindra 4510 has the same problem. How hard would it be for me to remove the AC condenser "radiator" so there was better air flow to the regular radiator? I do not use the AC anyways for a number of reasons . Then perhaps I could remove the extra added on pusher electric fan so I would have unrestricted access to air blow the radiator.

To piggyback on what Dave said about a custom radiator, I had to have the radiator for my 24 Dodge Brothers repaired 3 years ago. The old core was shot, so I took it to a local place here in Ogden, Western Radiator.
They were able to order a new core with the very wide fin spacing that perfectly matched the original. They put the old tanks on the new core for under $500.
I’m sure any competent radiator shop could do something similar for your tractor with a wider fin spacing that doesn’t plug up every 20 minutes.

You probably need to post a picture here of that 24 Dodge Brothers rig. Those are cool.
