Maintenance Part Availability for GC

I, personally want my stuff to last so I will be going with OEM. I believe that they designed the equipment to last...therefor they would want to remain in business and strive to have a large, satisfied customer base. I think that the filters and belts are made under contract with a reputable company such as Dayco, Wix, and such. I don't think that a "tractor" mfg. would want to put their reputation in jeopardy with using substandard parts in there equipment. At least that is my take.

Our local MF dealer in Somerset PA won't be selling tractors or parts after the Dec. 31st. Took a ride up there today to get a hydraulic filter for our GC2310. They had none in stock. The closest MF dealer is an hour or more away. I will order from Jack's (thanks for website) and pay shipping vs. gas @3.09/gal. The oil filter crosses to WIX 51360 and Baldwin B7356. Fuel filter is WIX 33262. If I need any 'big' parts....??? oh well. Not having a dealer close by also decreases the resale value of my tractor.
