You got that right !
I had my grandchildren over for the first time several weeks ago. I hitched up the trailer to the tractor and took them on a hayride on my little farm. We had a most fun time to quote my granddaughter. The next day a guy said he was hunting back in there and almost shot us. I told him that if he could not hear the noisy old tractor see the mostly red machine or the red trailer then he certainly did not need to be hunting. Then he whined about me running off all the deer. I told him that hunters did not own the woods during hunting season and having fun with the grandchildren took all priority over running off deer anyway. Keep in mind this all took place within 200 yds of my home.

Disclaimer: Not against hunting at all, just stupid hunters.

ps I believe the guy has shot a box or so of shells at deer and still does not have one /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Is this where I should add a story about a 12 ga. slug coming through my sliding glass door on opening day a few years back ???? I guess since the house is brown It was my fault /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This one sentence tells you how bright that guy was Ben. Little does he know about deer and noises. My farmer friend always sees deer when he's out in the field using his tractor or in the woods with his chain saw. deer are attracted to noise like that. Also gun shots do not scare deer away. I use to shoot in between the farmers cornfield and bean fileds. Many times the deer were in there eating green beans and corn while I was target practicing.
