Ask if they could work with you while you're trying to sell your house by implementing some odor control. Lots of things exist on the market including Carbon Filters, Odor neutralizing gels, and UV lights. Some more expensive than others. These items can be purchased online or at any Hydroponics dealer in your town. The smell can definitely be controlled if they tried. Maybe just have a talk with them and explain your situation. They may be oblivious to the issue and willing to help you.
This won't work as the new owners will smell it then sue the old owner for knowing of the smell and "conspiring" with them calling it fraud. Owners/realtors in a lot of states MUST state all they know about the house, in some cases even if you have ghosts, etc.
