Market for PT custom Attachment???

I would like to see any plans or entertain any thoughts on a hydraulic log splitter attachment that is both vertical and horizontal with an additional quickplate that would allow you to split logs into 1/2 or 1/3 or 1/4 etc. Maybe it could also have a hydraulic assisting arm to lift up larger logs. Sort of like a log prossesor. I think this would be awesome for both home owners with woods, people interested in making money for firewood etc. Any pictures, ideas, plans or prototypes would be great /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

As long as we are dreaming, how about a leaf shredding vacuum. Probably have to be something along the lines of a pull-behind cart.
Honestly, this is one application that the PT does not seem very well suited for though. The front attach and articulating design would make it very hard to figure out a way to blow the leaves back to a pull-behind cart, and anything that you rigged up to hold the leaves in front would either be too small to be useful or restrict vision too badly. But hey, I know how much some of you guys love a challenge!

Here is Steiner's concept of a chipper shreader. I don't know if this attaches to the front and runs off of the belt PTO or what? It looks like you need to pull a cart up beside it for the blower to dump into.

How do we feel about putting together some kind of list of attachment type and the number of people that would be seriously interested in them. I am not sure how we would do this but I would imagine that we should begin a new thread in order to make it easier to navigate.
After we establish the attachments with the greatest "want/need" value we can then methodically go through each one and evaluate the following-
1 - Will the attachment as requested operate in a safe and manageable manner as expected in concert with the PT units?
2 - Can it be made per the requested requirements within the required price range?
3 - Economy of scale - how many we would manufacture on the first run / which would have quite a bit of bearing on the price.
We can create the designs in 3d solids and then post the finished design either here or within one of our websites.
Please advise any comments on how/where to begin the evaluation of the different attachments in a semi-organized manner.
Once we get one attachement designed and some units sold we can move on to the next etc.....

Here is the Steiner Chipper-Shredder on another articulated tractor. It is driven off the front PTO. This is intended for stationary use only and not suitable for vacuuming leaves. The pulverized material is blown through the black pipe and can load a pickup bed, wagon or trailer bed, or just dropped onto the ground.
See photos of my vacuum system in the following posts. It seems to me this could easily be connected to a Power-Trac. It just requires a boot connector to the exhaust chute of the mower deck and a couple of support arms for the long hose. My hose is 11 feet long.
