Thanks for the info guys. I will be ordering mine in the near future. I cant wait to clear out the underbrush, rocks etc on my property. This winter I made some extra $$$ removing snow for the neighborhood. I already have two projects lined up this summer- more $$$$. The more $$$ the more toys for the Kubota. I think the tooth bar will be an asset and I can't wait to try it out.

I was reading this post and was wondering. I have a Bx-24 and in order to take the loader off you place it at a 20 degree angle putting the cutting edge against the cement and then roll it back to remove it. Now if I put the tooth bar on can I still do this in my garage or not. Or would I have to remove the tooth bar each time so that I did not damage the cement. I know somebody out there must have experience in this.

My M7040 loader comes off in a similar way. I haven't tried it yet but I don't think it would be an issue. The tooth bar is pretty sturdy. Instead of the cutting edge resting on the ground surface the tips of the teeth would. You may not have to angle it quite as much. I don't think it would have an effect on the function of the loader stands. But, like you said, I'm sure somebody on TBN has experience with this and they may be better able to answer this question.

If you use grade 8 bolts and double nut the ends you'll have no problem with unscrewing the nuts. The threads stay in good shape for easy removal and installation..

Great advice RaT!

The toothbar is on my short list of must have items.

Hmmm seems like a must have for me, especially with all my landscapping that needs to be done this spring. Is there a good place in Canada that sells these things??

Not a Markham of course. You'd have to get that from North Carolina. But I'm sure Melissa would send one up there to you . . .eh?

Anyone have a definate answer for Merlin, I am in the same situation with my 2800. I take the loader on and off quite a bit. Don't want to tear up my garage floor.

Thats easy, just put a 3/4 piece of plywood or a wide plank to rest the teeth on and you could even nail an edge to it for extra convenience to make sure it stays on there or you could bungee/strap a plank to the edge, kinda like an edge guard
