JD 850-sold to buy Kbota Grand L3010
Received the Markham toothbar for the L3010 today. Have not had time to install it yet, but I set it in the bucket to check for fit; looks close to perfect. After looking the thing over for a few minutes, I must say that I'm impressed with the quality of construction. It's very heavy, and well made, and delivery was FAST!

I'm looking forward to getting it installed and putting it to use in a week or two.

I just received a Markham Toothbar to put on my 60" bucket. I too am impressed with the workmanship and UPS dropped it right on the deck for me.
The company and people are great to work with, lead time and shipping was Quick. :) Now I just have to put it on.

One thing I did notice is the brackets that bolt to the side of bucket are slotted and all that I have seen on the forums are a single bolt hole. I am just going to place the hole so it's at the very back of the slot.

Place it in the middle of the slots. The are there for drillers error..........

Others have drilled the holes in the bucket in the front of the slots, then you can loosen the bolts, slide the toothbar forward and flip it up into the bucket and use the bucket to backdrag without taking the toothbar off, flip it back down and retighten and continue to dig.

I drilled my hole at the front of the slot, allowing the bar to be slid forward and flipped up into the bucket. Thought it a cool idea at the time. Have never used it that way, however.

First try with my Markham toothbar. This toothbar allowed me to scoop up rocks I could only pick up with a grapple before. The picture shows the large rock I couldn't grab with the loader bucket before and now I am able to get under it get a grip on it...
