what is a fair price for tractor fel and mmm I think you may be able to get a free loader right now also whats the backhoe like for these models almost went for a kubota but the massey dealer got a hold of me and i am impressed

Just got my 1529 delivered today with mmm and fel. 0 % for 72 months came to $22500. Put an hour on the machine and so far pretty impressed

I picked up 1529. Was delived yesterday. Got it with FEL, BH, and 60" gear drive tiller for 26200. Played with tiller yesterday before dark, and it made nice soft soil (so much better than my jd 216). Today I played around with the FEL, and learned that I have alot to learn about using the FEL lol. Next up will be the BH.

I wanted Gc2910/Bx25. But the wife shot me down. Laughed saying it was to small. I'm coming from a Jd216. She didn't even like size of the Mf 1526, or kubota 2320. She liked the mf 1529, and kubota l2800. With the massey we got better price & financing, easier change direction with manual. So worked out.

It was a toss up for me between the 1526 or the 1529. What made the difference was the loader was integrated and stronger.

I have the 1526 and you do get a better loader with the 1529. And a better seat. You have arm rests and I don't :-(

Started the same here with the wife laughing at the BX25 size. Ended up with a 1635. Haven't regretted it once.

I had the same choice and went with the 1532 for the higher HP mostly for the PTO.

I sure feel like the little guy here. Guess I'm going to do my 50 service tomorrow on my (little) 1526. Haha. At least its a red Massey ;-)

No. I decided that I'd want ballast for using the FEL. Better off with a 60" bush hog finish mower. 583 lbs hanging out there works pretty good. Then I don't have to change things around all of the time. I do take the FEL off when mowing.

How does the 5 foot tiller fair on the tractor? I have a 1529 Massey as well and need a tiller for our 3 acre food plot/garden. Any negative feedback?
