Massey 1660 DynaQPS SHift Fault

My 2010 1660 Dyna QPS recently started jumping to neutral when operating with the PTO engaged. It resets when I stop and restart the tractor but disengages again within 5 -15 minutes, if I engage the PTO. Tractor opperates as designed any time I don't run the PTO.

I checked as many things as possible and based on one thread on this site, decided to install a new transaxel control 6244413M98 but now I immediately get a "Shift Position Setting Fault" script in my dash. Does the new control need some sort of programming before it can be properly installed in my tractor? If so, the dealer parts salesman didn't mention it.

Check the plug on the computer it gets water in it
