Agreed on the freight train theory, however my statement is based on the discussion that the tractor was either towing or riding on the trailer. The amount of damage favors the riding on the trailer theory. Assuming the tractor was pulling the trailer, and a freight train was on the trailer I find it difficult to accept the fact that the tractor was rolled into a ball, but, the goose neck of the trailer appears to be undamaged. I believe this supports the trailer being towed by another vehicle theory.

The tractor is incapable of going the type of speed that would be required to do this kind of damage. 18 mph is not even close.
I signed up last week after receiving the pictures by e-mail which sparked my interest for more information. I searched the net and found this statement on this site. It amazes me the statements that are so assuredly made on the forums that I belong to; there is such positivity without ever having the facts. Sure makes eating crow much harder in the end?
As far as the pictures show, the tractor was pulling the trailer. There is plenty of inertia behind the tractor and that particular trailer. It broke as the weakest point of the tractor, where the engine is mounted to the tranny.
I talked to a guy this weekend that has seen a tractor break in that exact spot by only lifting something too heavy with the loader.
I found another site on the net with a clearer picture of the truck plate, see attachment. If someone wants to run it and get the facts I遏・ sure we豎*e all interested. It seems like the license # is 118 CTK, and the style of the plate looks a lot like the Saskatchewan like this one: http://members.shaw.ca/kcic1/plates/sk.jpg

Anyone see the hypocrisy here?

...Seem to have time to post in here though.

Together with the SK license plate on the Ford pickup, and the stickers on the cab that say Full Line Ag, I got the dealer information in Swift Current, SK, Phone: (306) 773-7281.
Ok, here's the scoop per a salesman at http://www.fulllineag.com/. The owner of the Massey tractor was traveling down the road in road gear pulling the trailer with a full load of bales. Either the owner or the owner's 4 year old son accidentally pushed the joystick to roll the bucket down into the road. The 4 year old actually was thrown out of the cab onto the road but fortunately sustained only scrapes and bruises. The owner as I understand was relatively unhurt. The tractor has been submitted to insurance and that's where it stands as of now.

Would you like your crow plucked or with the feathers on it?

You coming here to show your point like you have is far from you being liked. We have nice family here and we really don't need/want this type war that you are trying to start here.

So good for you, your point has been made... Now be a man and move on. Take care.

Miekk; Congratulations! You may have succeeded in finally being right about something. Perhaps you could use the same energy to solve some of the worlds real problems, or possibly cure cancer. We will all pray for you, good luck!

I've learned in my life that it's what you learn after you clearly know it all that counts. Willingness to learn through correction is the hardest but often the most effective. I'm not stupid, nor am I calling you two that either, just pointing out the need for research and facts before such certainty.
Gentlemen, take care. :)
