Bought a new chainsaw last week. Big oaks are now on their way down.

With those bigger oak logs, I can only get two 16-18 inch chunks in my bucket. A 6' log of this size is way too much weight for my tractor.

I'm going to buy this carry all from TSC, so I can load a few hunks on the back of the tractor also. Just need to build a platform made of wood to make it useful.

Great saw choice! Love my Dolmar

I never even heard of the brand until I asked about saws on this forum. Glad I did, seems to be a beast, and a huge improvement from my 20 year old Stihl 029. This ones a 6400.

I was wondering the same thing. Ours were both around 8" which suited our 35 and 135 and other similar-sized agricultural machines - they can set it on the ground with only about 2" of lower link travel wasted.
The other question I have is regarding the green frame on the 3PT - is this a quick-hitch conversion kit?
Regardless, the specs of these tractors and attachments available are very very impressive! :licking::licking: Not to mention 4WD
Guys ..... Please be aware when you're using your bucket that the tractor is not very heavy so stability is something to keep constantly in mind - the last thing any of us want to hear about is an accident. I would want to check if rear wheel weights are available, and if they are, certainly buy them. I would also fill my rear tyres at least with water for additional stability, as well as improved grip. Try it if you haven't yet - I'm sure you will be impressed, as well as safer. :)

That John Deere with the carry all is not mine, found pic on internet. Here is a picture of the one I bought. Got from TSC for $130. I put the 2X10's on it, and might put sides on it later. I hauled some logs out of the woods with it, works great.

This new carry all comes in handy for many things. Cheap attachment that will get used a lot. Snowed a little here in Southern WI today.
