That's odd, I've been all over the CCY forum here on TBN, and have never heard anything like that.Don't have a Massey dealer close by so did not look at them. Looked at Kubota, New Holland, and Cub Cadet (Yanmar). Again, the NH dealer was not close enough so down to BX25 and the CC equivalant. After seeing a CC at my mechanics shop with a twisted frame and comparing that stamped frame with the BX structural shape frame it was a no-brainer. The CC is cheap/cheap by comparison. I love my BX25. It does more than I expected. Check them all over close before deciding. I do not find the reverse pedal a problem. It has become automatic aafter 300 hrs, but then I did not come off some other brand. After time in the seat I jump in my pickup to get fuel and find myself stomping at the reverse pedal in the truck.

I personally never compared the frames of the various tractors, but those that have claim that the Massey is the strongest.
The OP may need to read the Kubota forum, IE: Kubota Shuffle, before making a final decision. I personally opted out(although Kubota makes a fine machine).
I looked at John Deere, but I wasn't paying that kind of money for an aluminum transaxle.
I looked at CCY also, but the 'forward/reverse' rocker pedal wasn't doing it for me. And with the current split between Cub Cadet and Yanmar..............I dunno. They claim the parts support will be there.......but will it?
I'm not brand loyal...........so to speak..........but don't exclude the Massey line in your search for a tractor.
My GC2400 is my first real tractor. A year of thought went into this tractor purchase, and there are those on here that will say that my Massey isn't a tractor(it's just a glorified lawn mower), but trust me............It's a tractor:thumbsup:
