Max towing?

Not true if he buys the Reese dual-cam anti-sway w/trunnion, which in that price range, is the best hitch out there. That installation takes about a full day.
Huh? The one I have required no drilling at all and can be installed or removed from the trailer in 5 minutes. I take it off the trailer if I don't plan a trip for a month. And all it takes is an adjustable wrench or correct size socket and ratcket wrench.

The Dual Cam requires drilling large holes in the trailer frame and very precise positioning to work correctly. It is somewhat time consuming to install to get it right.

If your setup does not require drilling it is NOT a Dual Cam, it is a standard WD hitch.

Ok- Maybe the OP should get the simple ones for the trip. OP also states he getting it from a dealer. Maybe it already has the WD kit. he just gotta ask what's there. Heck- if he was close to me I'd lend him my WD just for the trip.

Sorry, my bad, yes I was referring to the dual-cam anti-sway setup. The straight WD by itself is a simple hookup and in no way as time consuming nor precise as the dual-cam hookups.

Actually, you can add the Dual Cam anti sway to the regular Reese trunnion WD setup at a later date, if you wish. That link I provided was for the add on. Naturally, the complete set is available, as well.

I will join those who use the Reese Dual Cam WD to say that once the hitch is set up properly, it is unbelieveable how rock solid steady and stable your tow rig becomes. Well worth the cost.
