Morning. The noise I was hearing was just the hydraulics on the rack and Pinion and the hydraulic fluid is full. Overall the Engine noise and cab is very quiet. I washed and waxed the tractor yesterday trying to keep the roof, fenders from fading any more.
maybe upgrading from a M5040 to a M7060 cab

I wash/wax mine every fall. My problem goes back to the 1980 eruption of Mt St Helens. There is a lot of exposed volcanic ash around this area and when the wind blows you will get a fine grey coating of ash on everything. This includes your newly washed/waxed tractor. I would guess we have, probably, seven to ten days a year where the wind does not blow.
