I think you're being a tad bit unreasonable... To say "this tractor belongs in the city and not on the farm" suggests that you think a small, 2500 lb tractor with a loader only rated at 960 lbs, should be considered a dedicated farm tractor. I mean, what would you expect in a loader that small? If you put a heavy duty bucket that weighs 500 lbs on it, you've just cut your lift capacity in half. Shoot, i have a spare 66" heavy duty SkidSteer bucket I'll sell to you for $500 if you're interested. But as soon as you try to lift a load of dirt, you won't be able to get it up.

Point is, a thinner, lighter duty bucket is appropriate for that light duty compact Tractor. It's like buying a Ford Ranger and then expecting it to handle pulling 14000 pounds all the time... Instead of just buying an F350 to begin with. It's not Fords fault if you stress the Rangers frame while asking if to perform like an F350.
Yes I do believe this tractor ought to be considered a dedicated light weight tractor on the farm. To put 3-4 bales of hay in the bucket to take to a handful of calves? To scoop manure out of a barn (can't get into with big tractor)? Pull steel fence post? Dig a trench about 3 ft deep to fix a broken water line? Pull a 5 ft brush hog? ( 4 ft won't clear wheels and tractor can't handle a 5 ft in heavy conditions) big tractor is cumbersome up around barns. Back drag gravel and dirt? Yes,on the farm tractor is used a lot and did not hold up. In town tractor does not see the usage near as much. I do not think calling on this tractor regularly and routinely on a near daily basis is asking to much from the tractor or loader.

I think you're missing the point.

Them farm king loaders are kind of an add on I think, i know a guy that has one on a white and a couple guys have them on case- ih tractors. If it is the loader I think it is and the one these guys have, they like them. My telephone is slower than yesterday's newspaper so haven't got that link to come up yet. Was duetz mixed up with allis once? Is this the same outfit that makes duetz-Allison transmission. My dad has that transmission in his pickup, and I've never seen a transmission pull and take so much. Automatic transmission don't have a good track record pulling trailer, but the are getting better. Any way I will try to get this tractor link to come up.

The OP has stated some of his daily standard tractor expectations for use on a farm. Those are all to be expected and would be common for many farm uses. It would seem the tractor he purchased was Hyped to meet those needs but has not.

The bucket itself could be of third party manufacture and does seem to be made of a very poor steel quality.

As a note I have a tractor of similar size and horsepower. I'm sure it would meet the needs the OP has in mind.

It sounds like it has done all those things for the last 8 years. Sure, he's apparently had bad luck with a few things going wrong in the last 1500 hrs, and obviously he's disenfranchised with AGCO because of it. I understand.

But to get all worked up about something as trivial as a bucket wearing out? Seems unreasonable to me.

Sure we all have different expectations. I use my bucket for over 70% of the hours on my machine. I don't expect the bucket to last the life of the tractor, with the way i use the bucket. I'm sure there are plenty of tractors out there that only have a small percentage of bucket-use compared to overall hours... In that case, is expect the bucket to last much longer. But it seems like the OP has used the bucket plenty over the last 15 years.

Again, i know we all have our own expectations... Flawed as they may be. In my opinion, based on my expectations, his complaint seems petty and unreasonable. Seems like just another reason to bash the tractor company he doesn't like.

I think for for farm use you need to look a higher h.p. utility grade tractor, that wood have heavier duty loader and bucket.Size the machine for the job.Take a 30 HP compact and compare it to a case 580 tlb, which one would hold up longer.

If this is the metal the bucket was made from there is a lot of metal missing that was not caused by wear!
Seems there is excessive rusting that appears to follow patterns in the base stock.
I disagree. Looks like years of environmental conditions eating away at the thinned (from usage) exposed metal. I'm not sure what smoking gun you're seeing from those pics that would indicate "missing metal" ... From any other source than time and use.

Another story of someone that wants the Cadillac but doesn't want to pay for it.
