i keep shearing key on steering shaft
i am considering drilling shaft to insert 1/4 in compression pin to replaace key
any recomendations or someone who has had similiar trouble

I was having the same problem on my 1020, ended up drilling through shaft and pitman arm and put a grade 8 1/4”-20 bolt through it, and its been holding up for a couple years now.
