I am still having issue with splines on coupling stripping. I was wondering could I run auxiliary remote from top of 3 pt lift on tractor to operate FEL. I tried to post video to show more details. It would not let me upload but I hope pictures help. I also drill hole in coupling and pump shaft for bolt to help but it is breaking grade A bolts. Could the old hydraulic lines have anything to do with it also? Help plz

I have a 231s with a 232 loader. I have never seen that part on my tractor. Yours must have a separate pump and fluid reservoir. Mine uses the pump for the 3 point hitch and the same fluid. It is very slow.

I'm unfamiliar with a grade A bolt. Try to secure a grade eight (8) bolt in the proper size. If the holes are not in proper alignment or have wobbled out or enlarged they could be allowing enough play to cut through the bolt.

Yes it has it reservoir. Is there anyway that I can upload video? Maybe that will better understanding. Do you have any pictures of how you have yours hooked up for FEL?

Yea I meant grade 8 bolt. It do have little wobble and play in coupling and shaft from stripping of spline. Do you think that the hydraulic hoses maybe old and not causing pump to turn freely.

I can try to get some pictures tomorrow. I bought it used, it was probably done at a dealer. The lever on the transmission that switches from 3point to fel is an aluminum block with two lines coming out of it that eventually lead to the joystick housing. You have to put the 3pt. Lift lever in "constant pumping" for the loader to work.

I'm sure you can upload a video. I haven't used this forum much, but other forums I am on, you can upload videos, but I think they have to be YouTube videos.

Do your lever look like one of these?
