Those two lines go into the remote valve block and two lines come out of the remote to the joystick control.

I am still having issue with splines on coupling stripping. I was wondering could I run auxiliary remote from top of 3 pt lift on tractor to operate FEL. I tried to post video to show more details. It would not let me upload but I hope pictures help. I also drill hole in coupling and pump shaft for bolt to help but it is breaking grade A bolts. Could the old hydraulic lines have anything to do with it also? Help plz

I think the problem may be both the pump shaft splines are worn out in addition to the coupler.

Same thing happened to my Ford 3000 with front mounted Vickers Pump.

I tried several things that worked for a short time until replacing the pumps internal splined shaft , coupler and shaft that goes into the crankshaft hub.

ps. If the pump flow on the Massey is anything like my Ford was you will be disappointed with the FEL raise lower and curl speeds when using the 3 point pumps power beyond feature

My Ford had about 4.5 GPM 3 point and ~ 15-17 GPM on the front mount pump.

I know that I am going be very disappoint in the FEL operation but I do not know what else to do. I have replace 2 coupling within a year. The splines are only thing that is stripping. I do not know if I need to get new shaft made. I love the speed of it from independent pump. It is like you said a tractor with FEL that is not working is like tit on boar hog. Lol

I am open fo more ideas if you can help

I would take a close look at the front mounted Pump for Identification mine was a Vickers Vane pump many other tractors used gear pumps. maybe the Masseys front pump has good parts availability.

If you can get the #'s off the pump and who manufactured it we can start to look for either a new internal shaft or possibly a replacement pump if the price is right.

The spline clearance can be what causes the coupler failure. never had another problem with the 3000 once that was replaced.

It may also be cheaper to replace the pump complete if you can get the numbers/ brand off of the old one
